Furnace Installations Designed to Keep Your Home Warm All Winter

Earlier this season we helped a homeowner in the Laurel Woods area of Cornelius who had been fighting uneven heating for years. The main level stayed comfortable, but the bedrooms never warmed up, and their old furnace had started running constantly without making much progress. They weren’t sure if the ductwork was the problem or if the furnace simply couldn’t keep up anymore.

Our technician walked the home with them, checked airflow in each room, reviewed the furnace’s age and repair history, and ran a full heat load calculation. It quickly became clear that the existing unit was undersized for the home and losing efficiency. Once the numbers were laid out, he compared a few new system options in plain language, explained expected heating performance, and showed what improvements they could expect.

After installation day, the homeowner told us their home felt evenly warm for the first time since moving in. That is why a thoughtful installation matters. The right sizing, proper duct adjustments, and careful setup make a bigger difference than most people realize, and we focus on getting every detail right.

Chase did a great job installing our 95% energy efficient furnace yesterday. It is so quiet and we love it. It helps my allergy since it brings new fresh air from outside. It gives us tax credit. It is also much safer than our old furnace. My husband and I are satisfied with his work 100%. Thank you, Chase!

Frequently Asked Questions About Furnace Installation

Choosing a new furnace is a big decision, and it helps to understand what the installation process involves. Below are answers to the questions we hear most often from families throughout Hillsboro, Beaverton, Cornelius, and nearby areas.

How do I know what size furnace my home needs?

+

A technician will run a heat load calculation that considers square footage, insulation, window placement, and layout. This ensures your furnace is powerful enough without wasting energy or creating uneven temperatures.

How long does a furnace installation take?

+

Most installations take one full business day. This includes removing the old unit, installing the new furnace, sealing duct connections, and running final safety and performance checks.

Can installing a new furnace help with cold rooms?

+

Yes. Many cold room issues come from airflow imbalances or an undersized system. A proper installation with airflow adjustments often solves these problems and creates more even heating.

Will a higher efficiency furnace lower my energy bills?

+

In many homes, yes. High efficiency furnaces convert more fuel into usable heat, which can reduce utility costs and help the system run more quietly and consistently.

What should I expect during the installation process?

+

You can expect clear communication, floor protection, removal of the old equipment, careful setup of the new unit, duct adjustments, safety testing, and a walkthrough of how to use your thermostat and system features.
